Do you maintain your own inventory? All pieces presented on this site, including the chess sets have been crafted for, and directly imported by Khan Imports. We maintain 100% of our own inventory and inspect all pieces prior to shipping. Orders are usually shipped the same or next business day, and we are pleased to we offer UPS Ground service at no charge! I lost a chess piece! Do you offer chess piece replacements? Absolutely! We want you to enjoy your beautiful marble chess set in the many years to come. As an established company, we are pleased to offer chess set replacement pieces for each of our chess sets. Regretfully, we are unable to replace chess pieces if the chess set was not purchased from Khan Imports, or from a retail store that offers our chess sets. (We do not sell to other Internet websites.) Our hand carved chess pieces differ in size, style and color from other marble, onyx or stone chess sets. May I purchase a Chess Piece Set or Chess Board separately? Our Black Velvet Chess Set Storage Cases have been especially designed for our chess sets, and are only available with the purchase of a chess set from Khan Imports. If you purchase a chess set without the case and would like to buy the chess case at a later date, we will pleased to offer the case as a separate purchase. Please contact us by phone for ordering. Is there felt on the bottom of the chess pieces? While felt pads are added to the bottom of the chess board, we have chosen not to place felt on the bottom of our chess pieces. Any felt color (usually bright green) on the bottom of chess pieces that is sized to fit will be visible, degrading the appearance and natural beauty of the chess set. If smaller felt pads are used to avoid visibility, the chess pieces are not as stable. If you would like self-adhesive felt pads for the chess pieces, we would be pleased to include them with your chess set order at no charge. Please use the "Comments" box on the online order form at checkout to request them, or simply mention if ordering by phone. Do you ship outside the United States or Canada? I am buying a chess set for a gift, what's your return policy? We offer a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee with each purchase. If for any reason you or the recipient are not pleased with your purchase, it may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a prompt exchange or full refund of the merchandise amount, excluding shipping charges. If your order was shipped UPS Ground at no charge, the actual UPS shipping charge will be deducted from your merchandise total. There is no restocking fee for returns or exchanges. Returns must be shipped securely in the original packaging, insured for the full purchase amount. If possible, a copy of the Packing List should be included for our reference. Please contact us prior to shipping any return for a Returned Goods Authorization Number (RGA#), if you would like assistance with a return, or have any questions regarding our Return Policy. I've seen a similar chess set for a cheaper price. What's the difference? Many factors influence value and pricing when evaluating marble, natural stone, onyx or gemstone chess sets. These include the quality of the workmanship, stone quality, polishing, stone color and/or fossil content. Chess boards and pieces that have been exceptionally handcrafted offer significantly more value and beauty than sets that have been poorly constructed, manufactured, mass produced or machine-made. Only the highest quality stone and workmanship is selected for each of our handcrafted chess sets. Khan Imports will not ever compromise it's quality standards by importing, or offering a chess board that does not meet our requirements. As a result, "rejected" poor quality chess boards are usually sold with substantially cheaper machine-made chess pieces in local markets overseas, picked up by other importers or exporters, or purchased very inexpensively for quick liquidation.
